How to Use the PowerPack
Step 1. Build a solid understanding of how to solve exam problems
- Our OneStop PDF contains the essential problem types with step-by-step detailed solutions
- Our companion OneStop Excel files contain all the problems from the above PDF. There's a version which includes the solutions and another which is ready for you to practice with.
Step 2. Drill to crush problems on exam day
- Use our web-based templates to generate an infinite number of problems
- With practice, you'll become more efficient and accurate on exam day
Step 3. Practice in an Excel/CBT like environment
- An Excel file is provided for each source reading. It contains key practice problems to help you hone your skills.
Step 4. Practice Exams
- Two original practice exams and one hybrid CAS exam are available with quick and easy access at your fingertips. The hybrid CAS exam is a compilation of released CAS problems which aren't in the Battlecards. It should give you a solid feel for how the CAS writes exam questions while letting you practice with unseen material in an exam-like environment.
Step 1: Step-By-Step Solutions
Our PDF contains the core problems and detailed step-by-step solutions in this file.
Our companion OneStop Excel file allows you to try solving these problems at your own pace.

Step 2: Drill Web-Based Template Problems
After practicing problems for a while you can find yourself memorizing the numbers rather than understanding the steps. You'll gain a better understanding of the underlying concepts by applying them to different scenarios. Use our web-based templates to generate infinitely many versions of core problems. You can highlight the problem in your browser and copy/paste it into an Excel spreadsheet. Once you've solved the problem, type your answers back into the browser to have your solution graded.
BattleCards - Web-based problems
Step 3: Practice in an Excel/CBT Environment
There is a single Excel file for each source reading. It contains key practice problems for you to hone your skills on.
Step 4: Practice Exams
Excel Problems | Excel Solutions |
Practice Exam 1 | Practice Exam 1 Solutions |
Practice Exam 2 | Practice Exam 2 Solutions |
CAS Hybrid Exam 8 |
To get the most out of these files you should attempt each exam under timed conditions and then grade yourself carefully and harshly. The solutions provided contain all of the details; this may be more than needed on the actual exam but will help you understand the problems better.
Alice: "I've heard the F2 and F4 keys don't work in the Pearson environment. They do work in our Excel files — you've been warned for BattleDay!"
