Thanks for raising this. We've moved this question to the first battle quiz within Goldburd.Validation and updated the wiki pages - hopefully this is a better place for it.
The definitions of the three types of model are covered in the first part of Goldburd.ModelRefinement. However, quintile plots are a type of quantile plot which (as you point out) are covered later in Goldburd.Validation.
This problem is tricky. It's a good example of where you need to draw on information from several different areas of the reading.
I am probably gonna have many questions going forward, so for the purpose of not cluttering future threads, I want to say thanks for all present and future questions!
