Fisher Table M Q#1

This question has the charge at 1.5=0.7 (which would imply the savings at 1.5=1.2) and the savings at 1.8=.9. I would have thought the higher the r, the larger the savings. How is the savings at 1.5=1.2 but the savings at 1.8=.9? I tried to draw it out and I got myself turned around. Am I missing something?

  • Thanks for pointing this out. You are correct that the savings should be an increasing function of the entry ratio r. In this case we tried to pick nice numbers but failed to ensure we still had a valid Table M. We've updated the Battlecard to fix this.
