Tables available at exam

Do you know if the table given in the sample Pearson Vue question will be the table given on the exam? It contains the full reading for ISO.Rating which is why I am asking.

  • It is highly, highly unlikely that the tables given in your actual exam environment will be those that are visible in the sample Pearson Vue question for Exam 8.

It's much more likely they will give you any needed tables from within the reading rather than the full study kit materials.

The "tables" in the sample Pearson Vue question for Exam 8 are a great way of getting old copies of the ISO.Rating and NCCI.Circular readings without purchasing the study kit. It's too bad they didn't include the NCCI experience rating reading in there - so you're still missing tables E1 - E5 for the Fall 2021 sitting.

  • Hi. Do you want to revise your interpretation of how CAS will provide tables on exam comparing to what you thought last year. I am asking because I saw this sentence is clearly mentioned in the syllabus this year: "The entire manual will be provided both in the study kit and on the exam".

    Thank you!

  • No, our opinion as to how the CAS will likely provide the tables on the exam is unchanged. Our decision is based on:

    1. The CAS having had this statement in the syllabus in a prior sitting and not honoring it during the exam at the time.
    2. The cover page(s) to the CAS 2022 study kit which states "Candidates should not rely on have the complete circular/manual available during the exam administration."
